Process and sensor technology, 3D printing
Mr. Wohlgemuth's working group deals with the design, construction, production and testing of test systems for generating functional surfaces and prototypes of new process technologies. A further focus of the activities is on the application of 3D printers for the implementation of scientific tasks and their use for combined tasks.
Projects already realized include: (i) automated spraying systems for the flexible and rapid generation of MOF layers on surfaces (patent application), (ii) a programmable magnetic array for screening production methods for chemical ligands, and (iii) reactor systems with a movable, local temperature control zone for testing a new type of thermoresponsive liquid chromatography.
