Head of the working group

Dipl.Ing. Jonas Wohlgemuth

Process and sensor technology, 3D printing

Mr. Wohlgemuth's working group is involved in the design, construction, manufacture and testing of experimental systems for generating functional surfaces as well as prototypes of novel process technologies. Another focus of activities is the application of 3D printers for the implementation of scientific tasks and their use for combined tasks.

Projects already realized include: (i) automated spray systems for flexible and fast generation of MOF layers on surfaces (patent application), (ii) a programmable magnetic array for screening of fabrication methods for chemical ligands, and (iii) reactor systems with movable local temperature control zone for testing a new type of thermoresponsive liquid chromatography.
