CAD & Additive Manufacturing
The development and design of components, reaction chambers, elements and systems is carried out by means of a 3D CAD program (Inventor 2018, Autodesk + Fusion 360, Autodesk), which allows a downstream export of the data in STL format. By processing this data set in a 3-D printer (EDEN 260V, Stratasys), the body to be produced can be built up step-by-step by means of a generative manufacturing process, the so-called layer construction method.
In general, various technologies fall under the term of generative manufacturing, whereby a distinction is made with regard to the type of layer generation, the choice of production material and the selected method of single-layer bonding.
